Through Black Eyes was published in 1991-92 and is an important moment in national advocacy by placing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community voices at the centre of conversations about family violence and child safety, and helped establish a foundation for SNAICC’s continuing work in child and family wellbeing.
