Information regarding the Family Safety Plan public submissions form
Thank you for your interest in providing a submission to the Our Ways – Strong Ways – Our Voices: National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Family Safety Plan Engagement.
Public submissions are open to give opportunity to all peoples to identify the solutions, priorities and approaches that we should be aware of to ensure that the Family Safety Plan represents the voices and needs of our communities.
The public submissions process is open until 11.59pm AEST, Friday 25 October 2024. Please complete the form (see below), providing a written or audio submission.
If you have any issues providing a submission, please email familysafetyplan@snaicc.org.au.
As part of a broader engagement process, submissions will help shape the Family Safety Plan. We want your perspective on the solutions, priorities and approaches that should make up the Family Safety Plan, so it represents the voices and needs of our communities. Everyone is welcome to provide a submission. However, the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, communities, and organisations will be centered in the development of the Family Safety Plan.
For guidance in what you could talk about in your response, please refer to the optional questions on the Family Safety Plan public submissions page and discussion paper.

Submissions will be used to help develop the Family Safety Plan. Submissions provided in this process will only be used in relation to the Family Safety Plan. SNAICC will take all reasonable steps to ensure and protect the confidentiality and security of personal information in our handling and storage. Unless we have consent to publish your submission online, submissions will only be shared with those involved in the development of the Family Safety Plan.
