SNAICC – National Voice for our Children and Coolamon Advisors held a webinar on 5 December 2025 for the launch of Creating Structural Change Through Shared Decision-Making.

The webinar:

• provided an overview of what shared decision-making is and why it is so critical for improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people,
• provided information on how you can approach shared decision-making within your organisation (for people working within both ACCOs and governments),
• went through the guidance and explained how you can use it in your work,
• featured insights into how governments and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations can build and strengthen genuine partnerships,
• reflections on what genuine shared decision-making looks like in practice, and
• a discussion and Q&A with Coolamon Advisors and SNAICC.
