Kyabra Community Organisation will be hosting a free event in the green space near Richlands Community Centre. There will be stallholders with a variety of children's activities, a children's performer, Welcome to Country and gift bags for each child. The event is open to all members of the community with a family focus.

Children's Day will be celebrated at all Yarra Plenty Regional Library branches all week commencing Monday 4 August. Come along and borrow from the 'Deadly Collection' co-designed stories and collections. Locations include Diamond Valley Library, Eltham Library, Ivanhoe Library, Lalor Library, Mernda Library, Mill Park Library, Thomastown Library, Watsonia Library and Whittlesea Library.

TAIHS Family Wellbeing Service are hosting an invite-only Children's Day event at 10–16 Peel Street, Garbutt (Townsville), from 10am to 1pm; the fun-filled day will be full of cultural activities, dancing and singing.

The Police Child Wellbeing Unit will be presenting a PowerPoint on the history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day and representing a feel-good story on the how the unit is supporting Aboriginal families in the community this will be followed by morning tea with bush tucker.

Ngoonbi Community Services Indigenous Corporation is holding a community Children's Day celebration in Centenary Park for Kuranda and the surrounding communities. The entire community comes together for this event, which will include cultural dancing, games, and fun art and craft activities, as well as BBQ and fruit platters, damper and tea. Bring Elders and families to join in and have big yarns.

Fairfield Hospital would love to invite local children and community to come and participate on the day. This will be a great opportunity for the children to experience a visit to a health facility in a positive light, and it will help to engage and further educate the children on Closing the Gap in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.

Taking part is a way for all Australians to show respect and support and to learn about the crucial role that culture, family and community play in the life of Indigenous children. Cost: Free
There will be some special Children’s Day bags for the first 100 booked in. This free event is for children 0-6, their families, and early childhood services.
