SNAICC – National Voice for our Children publishes Annual Reports to provide a transparent record of our work, governance and financial performance for each financial year. As the national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled peak body for children, young people and families, our Annual Reports reflect our accountability to members, communities, partners and stakeholders across Australia.
Each report outlines our progress against strategic priorities and target outcomes, highlighting the advocacy, policy, sector development and community engagement work undertaken to advance the rights, safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. The reports detail our focus areas and key initiatives, and demonstrate how our work supports self-determination of communities and strengthens Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisations.
The reports also provide comprehensive information on SNAICC’s governance and leadership, including our Board of Directors, Council and organisational structure. Financial statements, including income and expenditure, are included to ensure clear and accessible reporting on how resources are managed and invested to support children, families and communities.
Together, SNAICC’s Annual Reports form an important record of our role as the national voice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. They document our ongoing commitment to culturally led, evidence-based and community-driven approaches, and our responsibility to advocate for systems and structural change so that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children can grow up strong in culture, supported by family and thriving in self-determining communities.
