Full time, 12 months (Extension subject to performance and funding)
Based in Melbourne
Salary range $90,000-$100,000 depending on experience, plus 9.5% superannuation

SNAICC – National Voice for Our Children, the national peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, is seeking an experienced and tertiary qualified Sector and Practice Development Manager.
The Manager will be part of the SNAICC executive leadership team working together to ensure that SNAICC consistently achieves excellence in the delivery of our strategic and operational goals. The Manager will work alongside and support SNAICC’s national Board and Council of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders to achieve SNAICC’s vision of “an Australian society in which the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people and families are protected, our communities are empowered to determine their own futures, and our cultural identity is valued.”
The Manager will coordinate the delivery and development of SNAICC sector and practice development programs for organisations and staff in early childhood and child and family welfare services across Australia. Generally, these services will be managed and staffed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or providing supports and services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The Manager will be responsible for the delivery and management of projects and associated contracts to ensure compliance with deliverables, quality and timelines within set budget and resource parameters. The Manager will provide leadership and management to grow and optimise the operations of the SNAICC Sector and Practice Development team, including the commercialisation of SNAICC intellectual property.
This opportunity is ideal for exceptional individuals with demonstrated experience and expertise in Community and Social Services, an in depth understanding of issues impacting upon Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families, and strong commitment to their rights, needs and aspirations.
