The Royal Commission into Institutional responses to Child Sexual Abuse wants to hear from individuals who have been involved in the ‘Towards Healing’ process.
In 1996, the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference and Catholic Religious Australia adopted ‘Towards Healing: Principles and Procedures in Responding to Complaints of Sexual Abuse against Personnel of the Catholic Church in Australia’ (Towards Healing). The Royal Commission invites those who have engaged in the process to contact the Royal Commission.
The Royal Commission is seeking submissions about the content and operation of Towards Healing from individuals, institutions, government and non-government organisations.
