The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has published results of nutrition data collected in the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey (NATSINPAS).
The Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Survey: Nutrition Results – Food and Nutrients, 2012-13 presents results from a 24-hour dietary recall of food, beverages and dietary supplements, as well as some general information on dietary behaviours.
Analysing food consumption, the report addresses whether or not findings varied due to remoteness, and how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people compared with non-Indigenous people.
