17 March 2015 | Community Announcements
National Families Week is an annual event run by Families Australia that celebrates the vital role that families play in Australian society.
This year the week will commence on the United Nations International Day of Families on Friday, 15 May and run until Thursday, 21 May.
The theme for 2015 is Stronger Families, Stronger Communities, which aims to highlight the important role families play as the central building block of our communities, as well as the belief that community wellbeing is enhanced by family wellbeing.
Organisations planning to hold an event for National Families Week are required to register in order to receive promotional products (posters, balloons, stickers, notepads and painting sheets).
Families Australia are asking supporters to register their events by 17 April to ensure there is sufficient time to process registrations and mail promotional products.
Registrations are now open and can be accessed via the National Families Week website.
Further information about the event, and what it represents, can be found on the National Families Week website.
