Description

SNAICC focuses on the best and most strategic ways to empower our communities and make a difference for our children and families. We’ve identified the pressing need for more education and training opportunities for Indigenous professionals and young people, and in particular, those who work in early childhood or child and family organisations.

SNAICC is now embarking on a scholarship initiative to ensure ongoing and growing support for those dedicated to a better future for our children and families.

We invite you to donate now as we build our SNAICC Scholarship Fund. Our goal is to build our scholarship pool and create a sustainable source of support for those working tirelessly with our children and families.

SNAICC offers a number of Indigenous traineeship placements and scholarships for Indigenous professionals and young people. In the past three years, our scholarships have supported two SNAICC youth traineeships and over 120 child and family professionals take up professional development opportunities. However, the current funding environment puts future scholarship opportunities in danger.

Education and training gives Indigenous professionals and young people choices, and improves the availability and quality of care for our children and families.

Your support changes lives. Please contact Deputy CEO, Emma Sydenham on emma.sydenham@snaicc.org.au if you would like to discuss becoming a SNAICC Scholarships supporter or other current opportunities.
