This training manual has been designed for supporting and sustaining genuine inter-agency partnerships in service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
As an ‘inter-agency’ partnerships training manual, it focuses on processes that support and facilitate relationships between organisations.
The manual is designed to support partnership leaders and ‘champions’ within organisations wishing to develop and strengthen partnerships in child and family service delivery. It is particularly relevant for:
- organisational leaders and decision- makers, including managers, CEOs, and senior public servants
- community partnership facilitators (for example, organisations leading local family service integration and collaboration initiatives), and
- consultants and other professionals taking on partnership facilitation and support roles
