The Family Matters: Strong communities. Strong culture. Stronger children. campaign is looking for a Project Coordinator to work directly with the campaign’s Western Australia Working Group.

The WA Family Matters Project Coordinator will support the Western Australia Working Group, in particular the Chair, Donna Kickett, to implement the WA Family Matters Working Group Work Plan. This includes: preparation of briefs and submissions; engaging with communities, sector partners and government officials; organising campaign events; and supporting media engagement.
Family Matters is Australia’s national campaign to ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people grow up safe and cared for in family, community and culture. Family Matters aims to eliminate the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in out-of-home care within a generation.
