To mark National Child Protection Week, Save the Children Australia has launched a special webpage that includes top tips from children about when they feel safe, and a list of useful community services for children, young people, parents and professionals.
Also featured is a special video which asks a number of children about situations in which they feel safe.
Save the Children encourages communities, organisations, government, businesses, schools, parents and carers to listen to what children and young people say about when they feel safe and use this opportunity to think about the role each of us can play in protecting children.
In Australia, Save the Children’s early childhood development, child protection and youth engagement programs improve the safety and wellbeing of children and families. For more information about these programs visit Save the Children’swebsite.
