SNAICC convened a workshop of key early childhood leaders to examine the future direction of the Budget Based Funding (BBF) program. The workshop aimed to identify concrete, tangible proposals for the development of the program to better meet the needs of the Australian Government, non-mainstream early childhood education and care (ECEC) services targeting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and, in particular, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
