Self protection skills are one way to help children to be safe or know how to find safety. This factsheet talks about how to help children be safe from sexual assault. The factsheet also explains how to use the FPQ booklet for children on self protection, I have the right to be safe.

This factsheet is best used as part of a self protection education program with the FPQ booklet, I have the right to be safe. Also available is an educational CD-Rom, Feel Safe, promoting self protection for young people with learning needs.

The Feel Safe CD is an educational CD promoting self protection for young people with learning needs. The CD reinforces self protection information on: types of touch, rules about touch, feelings, who to talk to if you need help, male and female body parts, wanted and unwanted touch, body warning signs.
