Early Childhood Australia (ECA) has published the Early Childhood Flexibility Practices and Patterns Report, along with a range of resources for early childhood services.
The report examines flexibility in early childhood education and care services, which includes non-standard hours, flexible sessions and enrolment, and flexible location and service delivery. The report also provides recommendations that are aimed at furthering flexible arrangements in early childcare in the future.
A series of resources have been produced in conjunction with the report. Flexibility tip sheets are designed to help services when approaching different forms of flexible practice, while case studies demonstrate some of the innovative flexible practices that are occurring in early childhood services around Australia.
Further information about the report and resources can be found at the flexibility practices and patterns project page on the Early Childhood Australia website.
