SNAICC has developed a series of resources for children and adults. These resources make up a children’s rights education set aimed at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children around the ages of approximately 3-7.
This Educator’s Guide has been developed to accompany the kit.
The guide has been designed to walk educators through the whole process. It introduces child rights in more detail and provides detailed information on how to facilitate child rights workshops with children. It connects the poster series with the children’s activity book and others games to play with children.
The guide also raises possible issues that might come up and provides some ideas about how to redress them. It includes a section on ‘how to use this resource kit’ to ensure that it is accessible and easy to use.
