Call for short digital stories made by Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children to screen @ SNAICC Conference 2013

January 15, 2013

We are seeking short digital motion picture projects made by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people

from schools, from digital stories projects, from anywhere and everywhere

We have lots of entries so far – thank you!

The night was a favorite at the conference in 2010. So get involved this time.

Deadline: end of April 2013
They can be more general stories too, made by all members of communities.

The short film and digital story projects will be screened at the film and meal night.

Some will be played as Audio Visual Screening loops throughout the 2013 SNAICC conference venue and during breaks

The films will aim to be a celebration and create a space for the voice of children and young people at the conference.

We often have a shortage of Torres Strait Islander and Tasmanian entries so we invite these communities in particular to submit material!

Length: 1 to 10 minutes
(Audio Visual Screening loops – 1 to 20 minutes)

Criteria: Made by and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

Contact Tatiana or Poppy via phone at the SNAICC office Ph: 03 9489 8099
or email with an outline of your film/digital story
