Bursting the Bubble website for young people has been developed by the Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria. It has been designed to help young people work out what’s okay in a family and what’s not. It tells you what you can do if someone in your family is hurting or abusing you or another member of your family.
Young people can take a Quiz to see if there are any warning signs that things are not okay at home. Then fill in the Checklists to see if there could be domestic violence, child abuse or sexual abuse in their family. This site gives ideas on what you can do and where to get help. You can also read the true stories from young people and adults who have experienced abuse (including some famous people).
