Introduction
The NAICD Children’s Activity Kit is available for children’s services and schools to use as part of their NAICD celebrations. We encourage you to use the activities to allow children and young people the chance to learn about and express their pride in their culture and themselves.
The Kit contains culturally relevant Activity Sheets and ideas for for staff to use in organising and facilitating activities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people.
SNAICC first produced the NAICD Children’s Activity Kit in 2006. In 2007, the Activity Kit was expanded to include the DVD The Dreaming, a selection of animated Dreaming stories that have been reproduced by the SNAICC Resource Service.
