The Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS) has recently launched a new resource for workers supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. Knowledge Circle - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child and Family Resources Portal provides workers with resources that promote keeping children safe and happy in community.
This online resource shares information on approaches that can help keep Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children safe and happy within their communities, and presents information on policy and processes that assist in delivering positive outcomes for children, families and communities.
Knowledge Circle provides evidence-based information, resources and interactive support for practitioners, service providers, community leaders, researchers, policy-makers, non-government organisations and governments.
The information provided in this online tool promotes the principles of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander self-determination, empowerment and connection to spirit, country and culture.
